"When one has lived with prophecy for so long, the moment of revelation is a shock".
This is one of the best sci-fi film ever made that's it. It's fucking awesome. What an amazing experience and thank God that i am alive to experience something like this, truly a great cinematic experience ever.
Denis Villeneuve returns for DUNE 2 , with the same old technicians and excellent crew to deliver one of the best sequel in the history of cinema. The film was enriched with terrific visuals, they are still so vivid in in my memory, those outstanding wide shots and that beautiful silhouette shots, they are so captivating that i am literally holding my breath in theatre. direction is awesome what can you say more, Denis Villeneuve is coming for his Oscar guys.
What a fabulous screenplay, the whole movie's pacing resembles like the moving sand in hourglass, it's so little but we feel it's long and because of its constant pace in screenplay so many things happens in those 166 minutes but nothing feels rushed and that's one of the strength of film.
It's not only excels in screenwriting but it has best music(HANS ZIMMER THE GOAT), sound design, cinematography, editing, action choreography, costume deg, VFX and special effects and the list goes on and on, the film has done great job in every section of filmmaking department.
Casting is hidden fortress of the film, what an exceptional ensemble cast with everybody embodying their character perfectly, you got every-other actors with less screentime and they have done justice to their role and this happens very rarely. Dave Batista, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken they all have given such impeccable performance.
Timothee Chalamet has really outperformed his own performance from prequel, he was so good in this one, you can see the traces of character development and nuances in his performance, Zendaya was also amazing and her portrayal of chani is praiseworthy, her pairing with timothee works very well as in the end of the film we can really feel the burden of their tormented relationship.
Dune 2 is cinematic achievement that should be watched in theatre, can't wait for the holy war 🥵, I am fucking excited 🤯.
