i just finished reading the book yesterday and was excited to see how it translated, but i wasn't really expecting it to be 'what if tolkein rewrote it after the rest of the series was done'. also i don't get why this movie couldn't be just what happens in the book, but oh well, i will be watching the other two. (casting and cinematography is incredible tho)
