OOOOH such a visual treat. Story wasn’t that impressive, but I always have a good time. I love how detailed everything is. My biggest drawback from all of his movies, is how dialogue heavy they are. Which isn’t a bad thing, but I NEED subtitles.

Is this A24’s 1st children’s movie? I loved the color grading, the world building, and the score (Dirty Projectors, go figure?!!). It’s a world I’d love to live in, it’s a beautiful dark fantasy. Writing wasn’t great, but it’s visually beautiful that I’ll let it slide. Give me a baby Ochi!!

I had a good time watching this. It has its corny moments, which makes it a good date night movie. Cute easter eggs from Whiplash and Queen’s Gambit. Very surprised Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross did the score. 
Was Anya’s accent terrible? yes. Is this anything new for Miles? no. But did I have a fun time?? YES 

The Dreamers but with some incest. Once I saw YSL was involved, I kind of knew what to expect.

The amount of times I held back my tears. Coleman and everyone in it did a phenomenal job. Clarence Maclin deserved the Oscar nomination for best ing actor, that scene where he recites Shakespeare?!? Are you kidding me?! I normally go in blind with every movie I see, so seeing that the entire cast was playing as themselves blew me away.

I don’t know who I like more as the Phantom, Ramin or Gerard. Regardless, Ramin swept me off my feet.

If anyone wanted to trap me, I would fall instantly if Gerard Butler sang the Music Of the Night. 

God damn I LOVE THE MUSIC. Its been 21 years and still one of my favorites. The grandeur, Rossum and Butler’s vocals, costumes, absolutely divine.

I would give this a negative score if I could. This was TRASH. I loved the series but they threw it all away when they made everyone an idiot and racist.  I’m still bothered from the previous movie where Charlotte wouldn’t drink any water in Mexico because it was unsafe, and then she proved she was right after shitting herself. This movie was all that times 10.
