Jacob’s review published on Letterboxd:
Adorable, squishy, life-affirming YA perfection. Just a bunch of teenagers trying to figure out what love and other big words mean, learning that being understood is perhaps the most romantic feeling of all. Alice Wu has graced us with another charming romance, and by existing in a high school setting rather than the uncertainty that is adulthood, there's just so much more kindness and humor in every frame.
All three of the leading actors do exceptional work, and there's something so exciting about knowing that it's the first Big Thing all three of them have done. Looking forward to all of their futures, and hopefully more from Wu as well.
