The King (of Sand). Villeneuve’s direction is solid. Solid screenplay. Good performances, especially Austin Butler, Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, and Rebecca Ferguson. Chalamet delivers one of his best performances and Butler is a scene-stealer. The action sequences are good, especially the climax. The cinematography and editing are solid. The effects are top-notch. The score is pretty good. The same is with the costumes and production design. Solid sci-fi sequel with solid direction and effects that will go down as one of the best sequels
