Andrew Roberts’s review published on Letterboxd:
Dune: Part Two is a monumental, bleak epic that takes the bones of Part One and evolves, builds and synthesises them into a work of art so astonishing, thematically alluring, and transfixing. The sheer scale is staggering, a consistently epic work, both textually and visually, yet Villeneuve never loses sight of Paul, and especially Chani, merging Herbert’s central love story and thematic core in such a way that it becomes a tragic romance of an ever relevant warning against messianic figures, religious fundamentalism, and power. An astounding work.
