They're gonna make him do this till he's 90

Deadpool and Wolverine brings a much needed breath of fresh air to the marvel cinematic universe and to the superhero genre and while it suffers through some heavy exposition dumps and one or two moments of meh CGI it manages to stick the superhero landing and has a fun time doing it.

You can tell everyone involved with this had such love and ion for the characters and story they wanted to tell and that made this feel much more than your typical MCU film. This is the level of cameos and multiversal shenanigans I expected when I saw Dr Strange MOM and after all this time part of me finally feels fulfilled. My favourite part of this is that the cameos aren't just quick one and dones they each have a purpose and feel earned and getting to experience them in the cinema without them being spoiled really made me feel like that old me who was waiting in line for endgame at midnight.

There's some great musical moments in here and some really fun fights that make full use of the characters and their powers but there's also a lot of heart and it manages to find the time to build some good motivations and take some fourth wall breaking jabs that absolutely work. It's hard to say if this will be as fun on the rewatch but it's 100% one of the best things marvel have put out since endgame and although my tastes and interests have outgrew the MCU lately this has absolutely reignited that spark in me and i only hope they take just as much time and effort for the next deadpool outing.
