I can confidently say I'll probably watch this masterpiece over 100 times in my lifetime. It's an incredible journey that has zero weak moments, and every time I watch it, I'm just overwhelmed with the whole experience by the time it ends. I get something new with each watch, this one being my fourth one. Little details like the makeup design for the Harkonnen, the language that the Fremen speak, the fucking oil bath scene from the Baron are simply mesmerizing.
Something I truly loved on this watch was the whole plot from the Bene Gesserit, creating this prophecy to their will and giving people false hope until they decide who is the chosen one. Jessica disobeys the Reverend Mother by having a boy instead of a girl with Leto, and just imagining how things would’ve been if she didn't disobey her floods my mind with questions and excitement for Part 3. I fucking hope with all my heart this will indeed be released in 2026 and won't get delayed.
Quick side note: I love these weird fetishes involving water with the Fremen. You're not even allowed to puke because it's the biggest crime ever.
