Dune: Part Two (2024) was an impressive feat, but I don’t think it was any better than the first. It was amazing though, not only from a cinematic stand point but from a cultural one. Like who isn’t talking about this movie now, whenever a movie has an impact like that it’s a good thing. Like that even goes for a movie like Madame Web, a bad movie but people talked about it. The movie is so beautiful too, it’s a shame though because the screen at my theater had some kind of like weird shimmer to it so that annoyed me big time. I thinking this about the last movie but I will say it here now, I thought I was going to be more impressed by this but wasn’t too much. That being said, the first movie stuck with me and had me thinking for days, so I am sure this will too. I don’t want to say too much either because I feel like this movie had so many twists and turns to it but the ending was one of the best parts. It was tense. There was also one other scene early on that was so epic I had some goosebumps out the wazoo. Overall, I rate this movie an 8.25, there were people in my theater that laughed throughout the entire movie and it kind of left me confused?
