While this one was definitely much better paced and overall more engaging that the first entry, this non-payoff sequel still doesn't really feel the two and half hour ission fee of its predecessor. We are still missing out on a lot of the interesting lore. We still never got to see a guild navigator and despite dune having such a rich world of functional science and reasons behind all the designs, we still have bullshit like bald harkonnens "just because".
