This movie RULES.
I laughed heartily several times -- which rarely happens when I'm watching a film -- and when I wasn't doing that, I was still having a blast with these characters and their predicaments. Is it too late to hope for a sequel?
Ever since the first episode of Andor aired I have been waiting until I got to the end of season two before rewatching this movie. I have always liked Rogue One, but seeing Cassian's backstory fleshed out over 24 episodes of his own show has given me a whole new appreciation of these characters and now I love it.
On previous viewings it used to feel very much like Jyn Erso's story, but having gotten to know Cassian (and K2-SO) better during the TV show, I now see them all as main characters.
Starts off with a student sending text messages during an exam. Is that allowed? Anyhoo, we're soon locked in a creepy public toilet. Then we're stuck in the car of a stalker with a crush. It has you wondering where the trouble is going to come from. Turns out to be a ghost story.
Towards the end, it runs out of steam a little, but I did feel sympathy for both characters.
