Wanted to like this one so bad. I’d heard so much about it over time. The score was really fitting and eerie with its high pitched trumpeting, the lighting and framing were pretty satisfying, the effects were incredible, really delicious movie gore… At first. 

The story feels like nothing, the ending feels like it serves no purpose. I don’t even think nihilism is the correct term for this movie.
