this was such a wholesome and thoughtful film. i didn’t have to really force myself to feel for the characters or understand them, it was easy for me to connect to the movie and characters as well as storyline. it’s such a feel good film and i can see why it’s a comfort film for many people! tom cruise was so good and obviously so fine so how can i even hate on this movie, the brother bond with him and raymond was so sweet and bittersweet seeing it develop as the film went on.

mind you, i didn’t even realize this was a martin scorsese film until twenty minutes in. this was such a funny and entertaining watch especially for going into the film blind with no prior knowledge or understanding of it! it’s such a feel good film and i really enjoyed the storyline and characters, definitely a must watch from martin.

truly one of my favorite 80’s masterpieces until the day i die, i miss patrick and his films everydayyyyyy :(

amazing soundtrack, beautiful visuals and great vibes but it’s no top gun: maverick to me, they outdid themselves in the remake for sure!
