this was such a wholesome and thoughtful film. i didn’t have to really force myself to feel for the characters or understand them, it was easy for me to connect to the movie and characters as well as storyline. it’s such a feel good film and i can see why it’s a comfort film for many people! tom cruise was so good and obviously so fine so how can i even hate on this movie, the brother bond with him and raymond was so sweet and bittersweet seeing it develop as the film went on.

no i’ll never recover from this movie! all of those boys own my heart and i’m still sick to my stomach chris died :/, he was one of my favorites. this is supposed to be a fun little boys adventure movie from the 80’s but instead it leaves me bawling and throwing up wondering wtf life is, this movie owns my heart forever and EVER. also teddy is so funny i adore him, “i’ll be relaxing with my thoughts!” my fav line ever.
