this movie just portrayed everything a girl goes through, manipulative men and the isolation she feels as times continues and elvis becomes more abusive towards her.. poor baby seriously, you were 14.. i’m just so glad she got out at the end and started her own life.. because once you’re in, it’s so hard to get out of and she’s so insanely fucking strong for that :(.…

this movie invented #girlhood. i’m really just sitting here thinking about life and what tf i’m doing with myself and where i’ll go next etc. sometimes i just wish time would stop even for a minute, like this movie just changed my entire outlook on so much stuff and i felt like i just got hugged sooo tight when watching :,) this was the perfect time to put this on as well since thanksgiving is just next week and christmas…

yeah sure it was much better of a movie when i was six years old in elementary school watching with my pajamas on and drinking hot chocolate (which i was craving sooo badly because of this movie), but because of that reason, it’s a cult classic and deserves 4 stars in my eyes! and the message of believing is beautiful, as well as the ticket finding it’s way back to the polar express, it makes you want to be a kid…
