Incredible cinematography, performances, sound design, & production design, and as a pure filmmaking achievement this is insanely impressive. Though I can’t help but feel some level of fatigue with this kind of epic, final-battle, fate of the universe storytelling, this is far & away the greatest outcome of the mode given the craft and skill of the auteur behind it. It contained some of the most jaw-dropping scenes I’ve seen in theaters (the water of life, Feyd’s arena battle, the sand worm ride), & is a prime example of how essential it is to shoot on location and have the upmost quality visual effects in grandiose films such as this
