In your grave, Hollywood can't hear you scream.

Special thanks to the estate of Ian Holm

Face and Voice performance inspired from Ian Holm

Between the ghastly grave robbery of Mr. Holm's likeness and some very questionable representation of neurodivergence, which gave me flashbacks to When Evil Lurks...

I'm so fucking depressed. I thought this would be different.

The direction and production of the film is magnificent, but it is utterly torn down by how much it wants you to…

Terry Chiu is an incredibly ionate and humble independent director; Open Doom Crescendo is a film I aspire to make.

In its DIY production, the film is capable of creating feelings and displaying emotion in ways Hollywood could never replicate. I was pleasantly surprised by this! I very much enjoyed some of the action set pieces here, especially the grenade sequence.

It's clear this wasn't a phoned-in cash-grab and the creatives had fun ideas that were executed perfectly.

Quality-wise, it sits between the first and second films for me. Definitely worth a watch if you enjoy this series!

Simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking. Just great stuff all around and I got close to tearing up tbh. These kinds of plots only happened back in old Hollywood and I really miss them.

BBC: Hey, we're gonna fund your silly little cartoon, no need to go crazy though.

Aardman: Ok, but we are going to make a film that highlights the dangers of artificial intelligence and how it is taking away the jobs of artists and replacing what they create with slop. Also it's going to showcase how police are corrupt self serving bastards who don't care about people, (locking up innocent people, falsifying evidence, etc) or their job and just want to have a power fantasy.
