Hysterical

An immediate horror classic. No it’s not perfect, but it has some sequences, man. Excellent performances (notably from the lead Sophie Wilde who is an absolute tour de force here) elevate a somewhat standard horror flick.

I was not really sure how this concept could sustain feature length, but you should never doubt the king. 

I had so much fucking fun. Shyamalan using all of his finely-honed skills to make an absolute ripper of a thriller, what’s not to love?

This is a really fun flick, with heart, and a cast that is having a blast and chewing the scenery. It doesn’t overstay its welcome which I was afraid it might, but it makes excellent use of its runtime. 

Really well paced, well directed, well acted - easy to recommend.
