Edward Drake's latest effort starring Kevin James and Christina Ricci doesn't deserve a spot on the big screen, where its flaws become glaringly obvious. 

Guns Up certainly doesn't convince or engage enough to warrant your full attention or theater ticket money.

However, the animated Stitch absolutely steals the show with his mischievous charm and perfectly captures the alien's chaotic energy that fans fell in love with. 

Overall, this is a solid adaptation that, despite its shortcomings, delivers enough heart and nostalgia.

Amid the chaos, Tramell Tillman shines as the shrewd, dryly witty submarine Commander, injecting every scene with scene-stealing charisma. He is my breakout star since Severance. 

Though the emotional beats occasionally play second fiddle to set pieces, the sheer technical mastery cement this as deserved farewell—one that proves even AI villains can’t outrun sheer human grit (or Cruise’s stubborn refusal to age).

Just like Ethan Hunt himself, I couldn't resist diving back into another impossible mission, and Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise have absolutely delivered another mind-blowing spectacle that left me on the edge of my seat. 

The action sequences are genuinely breathtaking and the personal stakes for our beloved IMF team feel more intense than ever, proving once again that McQuarrie knows how to craft meaningful action that serves the story rather than just existing for cheap thrills.

What makes this entry so compelling is how the director maintains his signature clarity in action choreography while ramping up both the emotional investment and physical danger for characters we've grown to love over seven films. 

However, I have to it that the decision to split this story into two parts still feels somewhat frustrating as a viewer - while I understand McQuarrie's reasoning about needing space for the expanded cast and complex narrative, it's still tough to accept a cliffhanger ending when you're completely invested. 

That said, after witnessing the incredible spectacle and emotional depth of this installment again, I'm absolutely buzzing with anticipation for Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning to see how this epic concludes.

I really enjoyed watching the quirky group of misfits in Thunderbolts*.

Rumours is a painfully dry comedy that completely missed the mark for me.

The satire aimed at the G7 leaders felt flat and failed to hold my attention throughout.

The performances came off as uninspired and mediocre, lacking the energy needed to elevate the material.

The film’s message is unclear, and it struggles so much to engage that it ends up feeling like a tedious slog rather than a sharp political commentary.

Death of a Unicorn is a gleefully absurd mashup of horror and comedy that wears its Jurassic Park inspirations on its sleeve, but honestly, that’s part of the fun.

Celeste Dalla Porta is absolutely mesmerizing in the lead role, her beauty and presence commanding attention and adding a magnetic quality to the film. 

While the direction is masterful and the style is bold, the story’s slow pace and meandering narrative left me feeling disconnected—it just didn’t resonate with me as much as I’d hoped. 

The movie dives into themes of youth, beauty, and the burden they bring, following Parthenope’s journey of self-discovery as she navigates love, loss, and societal expectations. 

Despite its poetic ambition and moments of genuine intrigue, Parthenope ultimately felt more like an experience to ire than a story to truly connect with.

The camera work is top-notch, and the use of striking European locations, paired with a beautiful score, gives the movie a sophisticated, atmospheric edge. 

Rami Malek delivers a compelling performance as a tech-savvy hero, and the story’s twists evoke the best of modern Grisham novels, blending intelligence and suspense. 

While it follows some familiar genre beats, the execution and attention to detail make it a strong spy thriller.

Despite the discomfort it may evoke, the film benefits from strong performances, particularly from Isaiah Lehtinen. 

While it may not be everyone's cup of tea due to its challenging protagonist, it effectively explores the complexities of teenage life. 

Overall, it gives an unflinching portrayal and decent acting, even if it doesn't resonate personally.

The Gorge is a fascinating blend of genres, feeling like three movies in one.

However, the action and horror elements, while visually engaging, feel somewhat predictable and lack the originality of the romance.

A truly calming film, beautifully shot with impressive editing. Some sequences capturing time slipping past Paterson are particularly well done. Subtle, minimal, and quietly effective.

A tale of a man who takes a stand against active fascism while countless others remain ive, as many likely would. A powerful opening to the set, featuring intimate and focused cinematography that emphasizes the deeply personal side of an otherwise abstract concept.

Nice animation but still a bit to soft for hitting the topic of male loneliness right done the barrel.

Anuja is a thought-provoking film that highlights the difficulty of making life-altering decisions at a young age. The performances from these first-time actresses were a delight to watch, and the added facts at the end leave a lasting impact.

I really wish they had delved deeper—what an incredible story to tell!

In just under 80 minutes, the fun of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance with Wings comes to an end and is a short holiday from the real world. However, the runtime feels just right, avoiding any sense of overstaying its welcome, leaving everyone eager to reunite with the charming clay-animated duo on their next adventure.

Sugarcane makes room for every truth, giving each devastating revelation the space to unfold and be fully absorbed. It is our collective responsibility to listen to these stories and carry them forward as the fight for reparations continues.

While most of the film effectively depicts a meticulous and slow-burning hunt for terrorists, the final act feels rushed, abrupt, and unsatisfying, as if it simply stumbles to the end. Perhaps that was intentional.

A vibrant, celebratory, and above all, warm-hearted portrait—somewhat chaotically arranged but still fascinating—of a man who has captivated our minds and delighted our ears for over 40 years.

it was a fun one but concert movies are something that I will have to learn to enjoy.

Overall, Volpe's direction masterfully balances tension and empathy, making Late Shift a compelling watch.

Captain America: Brave New World is a decent start for Sam Wilson as Captain America, but it's not without its problems.

The movie sometimes feels like it's sticking too closely to the Marvel formula, and the jokes don't always land.

While the action is fast-paced and exciting, some inconsistent moments prevent it from being a truly great Marvel film.

Overall, it's a promising outing that could have been better.

Recommendation: STREAM

Brady Corbet's The Brutalist masterfully portrays the intricate relationship between Tóth and Van Buren as a Faustian exploration of exploitation, creative obsession, and the postwar immigrant experience. 

The film effectively uses moments of levity to impact the audience, with both Adrien Brody and Guy Pearce delivering outstanding performances. 

While some aspects of the film, particularly the ending, require further consideration, the movie stands as a truly epic work. 

Corbet's direction and the film's ability to capture your attention, even through uncomfortable subject matter, make it a captivating experience. 

The Brutalist is bold and a thought-provoking narrative. Especially on a big screen and detailed and vivid 70mm. 

Recommendation: SCREEN
