Haris’s review published on Letterboxd:
I get the appeal, but this was just one big mess to me. The first Deadpool was revolutionary in many ways with how it broke the fourth-wall, but this film seems so forced and over-the-top to help compensate for how big of a deal it is for Disney to make a film like this. The plot is flimsy and only serves its bare minimum purpose as an excuse to put Deadpool/Wolverine in the same film, which also only cheapens all that Logan achieved. The endless cameos and abundance of hit-or-miss humour just sums up everything wrong with the landscape of mainstream cinema at the moment. Scorsese‘s remarks continue to age like fine wine.
