All we imagined was a light at the end of a tunnel called Indian cinema.

One of the most cathartic theatrical experiences I had in a while.

Payal Kapadia is my new religion (always was)

A powerful performance by Kani, she gets the very few lines out of the lot but her eyes project everything, an audacious Chhaya Kadam is as good as she always is and Divya Prabha surprised me like I never imagined.

So insane to experience a story about Mumbai, people of Mumbai, as an opening film of Mumbai Film Festival.

And the score... bawled my eyes out

With this and Three of Us last year, that's two films in the past couple of years giving me a sign to visit Konkan asap.
