without a doubt my favorite thing i’ve seen this weekend, like i’m desperate to see a feature-length version of something like this from asya segalovich. i can’t even explain what drew me in about this but the last shot made me really emotional. includes blunt humor, a compelling bond gradually forming between strangers, and little diversions into the lives of side characters that manages to paint a very specific portrait of russia’s current reality. i don’t know, i simply adored.
