Outside of the killer being being slightly harder to figure out than Friday 13th part 5,-a new beginning,I quite enjoyed this whodunit/slasher.

Ever wondered what Maximum Overdrive 1986 would have turned out like
without the cheesy charm,banging 80 soundtrack and just plain so bad it's awesome feel?

A ridiculous death by record throat slashing being a highlight for me! Look out for a person actually being thrown from a building kill. no fake dummy here. Although the clear dive into a pool,kind of dampens the illusion somewhat! Dam you pan an scan vhs.😉 Watched on VHS in poor quality. There's a U TUBE copy that's probably in better condition,but you might miss the splash from the building jump.😔 Look out for a sequence straight out of horror film moments of pure insanity! Trust me,you will know when it happens! Worth a look.👍

The third film in a trilogy is always the weakest.

Inspector Clueso goes giallo.
Thanks to a strong ending half hour,it's a shame we never got a series of films from this character.
Worth a look for the bunman inspired sequence onwards,when the film really finds its footing.

Glorious insanity.
Watched th original Italian language cut. I have the alternative American cut in standby,which I understand is very different.
I'm worried how different it could be.🤔

Hard-core propaganda Christian movie,not even an attempt to subtly disguise its preaching as a horror film.
After a banger open,the warning church bells immediately started ringing,once the actor playing the priest appeared, looking like he was auditioning for a cover photo shoot for hallaulla monthly!

Nowhere near the shit show the internet's labelled it as.
I expected a hell of a lot worse.

Little hidden Scream clone Slasher gem with a REALLY mean streak, plus a welcome er role for the late Rutger Hauer.
Film Characters are all stereotypes to the max and dumber than dirt,which just adds to the slashery fun!

Ironically for a film with this title,it's not exactly packed with originality.

Watched on a double bill with The Meg 2,so ,maybe that helped with my enjoying this a lot more than most folks.
Pretty sure both films second halfs were having a hold my 🍺 contest to see who could pull off the most insanity in a mainstream film!
Double points for reminding me of 90s movies that would throw logic out the reality shoot at any given moment!

First half was dumber than a bag of hammers. Then the second half came around asking first half to hold its beer.

Liked this a lot,but I'd have wrote it much darker.
Every murder she attempts to prevent,would end with three more added to the body count. Time hates being fucked with.

The Warrens on trial would have been nice.

How the devil got his groove back!

Scariest thing for me had to be Kens pet lip caterpillar. Terrifying. Sat gripped to my seat expecting it to get possessed, leap off his face and murder the entire cast at any given time!
Maybe it happened in an alternative ending?

Really wish this was as good as it's premise.

Surprisingly mean spirited and slightly gory little film which is clearly aimed at the teen market.

6th entry and I'm already looking forward to what awaits us in the 7th.
I guess this means these could go on forever...VHS will never die!

Includes a wonderful practical effect creature which would not look out of place in an R rated!
Little kid who was scared of everything was pretty annoying.
Great gateway horror for the young and young at heart.
The anthology series this spawned is worth a look.

Gets an extra half star for including a blink and miss cameo from the book of the dead,out of context for no logical reason whatsoever!

Not as bad as I expected. However,I can 100% get the terrible reviews this is getting.
Best way for me to describe this. Too serious for its target audience -kids-,and to our there for mainstream adults.
Then there's the to many to count plotholes. Best one being,how did he get to keep being guardian for his kid sister after THAT incident that gets him fired as a security guard early on! Let along jailed for hard-core assault!
Maybe its set in the same fucked up universe as no one will save you?

Worth a once watch if you can see it for free on TUBI.
I'm still not 100% sure what the hell was going on during that ending scene. Maybe she was seeking that forgotten copper wire subplot under the bed?

If the rest of the filmmakers were doing there jobs as well as the cinematography,this could well have been the best Sematary in the entire series.
Unfortunately the wheel was being well slept on during the rest of production.
Pretty impressive seeing the main actor manage to give just one solitary facial expression-whatever the circumstances-throughout mind.
Quite a feat on acting class in itself!

Ought to be made law that every one percenter be forced to sit through this entire series in one sitting.

Been balls deep into animated tv shows for literary months. Taking way too much of my viewing time to watch anything else till today.Time to finally start some October horror film viewing.
With so so much to catch up on,what possessed me to start my catch-up journey with this God bothered not exactly high in demand sequel I'll never know.
Still any film that has the actual devil show up in full black Phillip garb just to menace some schoolgirls for no particular reason,gets two stars for the unintended comedy gold element. Take a bow satan.

Way back in 2014 I ran a one man show podcast where I would record a main show each week where I told what films I had brought that week as a way of working out what I would be reviewing on future shows or fan commentary's.
Show lasted around 6 months, then due to personal crises and complete burnout from doing the shows every week plus film fan commentary's I had to temporary quit.
As I'm resurrecting the show soon this list is really a way to help remind myself what films I want to either cover on the show, or do a running commentary on. See this as something people who might have an interest in listening to the show as a way of seeing my future plans.
