more five baggers than Tim & Gregg 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

YOU ARE DYING
the other day while at work, I was thinking about (not watching), just THINKING about the trailer for this film, and began to feel my eyes well up. so, needless to say, I went into this with my expectations as high as could be. I am thankful to announce that this exceeded them and then some. people aren’t just throwing masterpiece around lightly when they describe this film. it’s like if 90’s Nickelodeon/YA television got into a car…
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
hits just as hard the second time around!!! the pig scene at the mall just absolutely crushes me. our audience gasped so loud when Ivy Wolk first appeared on screen like it was a damn cameo in a Marvel movie!
I don’t think there’s a world where I don’t give this five stars, so here are the aforementioned stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
DeYoung and Robinson do something very special here, delivering an instant classic comical riot, but also such a devastating examination of the longing for kinship. it is equally dreadful as it is hilarious to see Craig navigate his everyday life, which I feel makes something like The Cable Guy such an apt choice for a double feature with this. much like…
extremely fun, cool, doesn’t give a single fuck about subtlety, and doesn’t take itself too seriously at all. it’s like if Tim and Eric had made their version of a Chronenberg flick, like the way Dennis Quaid is eating those shrimp feels pulled directly from a Cinco commercial. I wish the Oscars wouldn’t be babies about horror because the commitment Demi Moore gives this is more than deserving of a nod. the sound design and set design is top tier as well. gotta experience that last half hour on a big screen again for sure, just purely awesome sicko shit.
walked out of the theater completely awestruck. it’s a true American epic, in every sense. I cannot wait to revisit this already and really develop my thoughts on the themes it presents to us. how in the shit did it only cost $10 million to make this??? it’s a technical masterpiece.
