Great cast. Fun story. Guy Ritchie. Can't figure out how, but this is meh.

The stunts are incredible, like we come to expect from this franchise, but this one tipped the edge for me, in the wrong way.
I can appreciate the action, but it seemed it was more about that than anything else. A few nice touches, like bringing back old characters and plot lines, and definitely worth seeing on the big screen. But the gaps in the story were more noticeable.
In my MI rankings, it goes ahead of 3 & 2, but below all the rest.

Finally. I had sneak tickets for my son and me to the original release date in April 2019, then just a couple weeks before the date COVID shut everything down. Only seen the first 2 episodes so far, but I'm impressed with what I've seen. Brutal depictions, but I'm afraid it'll be doubted as sensationalism with all the fiction aspects loaded in. As for me, I can enjoy what may have been in this world.
Looking forward to watching the complete series.
