George 🦥’s review published on Letterboxd:
Your mothers warned you about my coming. Fear the moment.
Yes. Cinema is back.
What makes this one way stronger than the surprisingly good 2021 depiction is the better paced storyline with intense and gripping action sequences full of stunning visuals, an amazing direction, a majestic score, exciting choreography, a variety of captivating costumes, and an absolutely gorgeous cinematography.
The cast was remarkable across the board, delivering fleshed out characters with depth and purpose making us actually care about them. Truly amazing acting.
Although, I found some aspects quite laughable and weird with how out of place they felt, I do believe the cinematic experience was one of a kind.
I've been craving a rewatch for a week, but sadly March is packed and I only have so much time. I'll be waiting for the physical media until then.
