I personally don't find it controversial at all to think that if you needed to use AI in your film you should not be eligible for an Oscar nomination, no matter how much one enjoyed the movie. Particularly after the writers strikes of the last year. I thought I might shed light on how AI should be severely restricted in most artistic pursuits (or most pursuits of any kind really) and yet it's still something utterly disheartening to discover and almost instantly undermines especially the message of this film about individualism and survival of craft in times of strife.
