I watched the first Fear Street film right when it popped on Netflix and was kinda underwhelmed by it so I never bothered with the rest of the trilogy. So it’s a little weird just continuing the story years later, but I’ve got some ideas brewing for some video coming up soon and needed to watch this one.

Overall? A pretty solid summer camp slasher that scratches a very specific itch. All the extra lore and bookends mean it can’t stand quite on its own, but it’s solid. Has good kills. Is shot and lit really well. And has a great performance by Sadie Sink.
