Unlike its possible/likely/loose inspiration Dumb and Dumber, this has seemingly given its “gas-men” the spotlight in favor of its leads. It’s fun to see play out and there’s a bunch of good laughs here and there but the strength of its side players is what, I feel, takes the cake. Also Beanie Fieldstein beating the shit out of a grown man is just the best.

You need to know that the experience of cackling with strangers in a theatre is one you can’t take for granted. I felt like I knew the audience, everyone was eagerly awaiting every reaction. It’s a glimpse into the potential of a new era in comedy and I couldn’t be more excited. The fact that this exists is just insane. I don’t even know what my favorite line is but I’m ready to obsess over them for the foreseeable future.
