How Stan Lee Changed Marvel (And the World) Forever

Consider this a tribute to Stan "The Man" Lee.

DC comics was always ahead of Marvel during the Golden Age of comics (30s and 40s). They had Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and a plethora of others. Marvel (Who originally went by the names of Timely Comics and Atlas Comics) didn't have many superheroes at all. They had Captain America, the Human Torch (Not the one from FF) and the Sub-Mariner. They were popular at times but were often given a rest in favour of writing stories of then popular genres such as war and horror/fantasy.
