I don't know I just felt like Deadpool & Wolverine was a bit of a sludge of a film.
I'm sorry Ryan Reynolds got on my tits after a while,Reynolds is okay in little doses I feel.
My goodness Hugh Jackman's body is bloody jacked and I have no doubt ripped and it will always be a bonus finally seeing him in the yellow suit after so many years.
In the third installment I found the jokes cringe but I think I was the only one everyone in the cinema were laughing out loud while I sat there with basically no expression.
The jokes also were repeated the Disney joke was told over and over again in slightly different ways and the Marvel Jesus joke which is shown the trailer also over and over again I mean we get it.
The action during the movie I felt was lackluster at best just the same action to yet another goofy pop song or AC/DC, any emotional moment or connection never really hit the mark because of personal disconnection with basically any character or the emotion was followed by a annoyance by Reynolds or thrashy joke.
Sure I loved a lot of the cameos and seeing characters from the pre MCU era or whatever, I don't mind the nostalgia and can appreciate it but were these characters always handled well or respected that can be questioned I believe.
Talking about respect I don't think they handled the whole Logan issue at all well and do think it ruined Logan personally but at the same time it could always just been seen all apart of the fun and joke of the movie so I think that's a side that can be taken and I see that point also.
Deadpool & Wolverine just another entry in a mixed bag which the MCU has become for me and no I don't think Deadpool can save the MCU sorry.
Even though the movie definitely had some moments of fun and nostalgia it just on the whole felt very eh and I was happy to see the credits even though the credits took me down memory lane which was nice and one of favourite parts of the movie.
