This shit had me fucked up and SCARED in the theater 😭 I haven’t been this anxious watching a horror movie since Hereditary. 

It’s wildly uncomfortable but also heartfelt, I nearly cried twice in this film because I found the characters and their trauma so compelling 😭 

I loved Talk To Me but I think I loved Bring Her Back even more. However they’re extremely different. Talk to Me is a scary movie you can watch with your friends, Bring Her Back is hard to watch with literally anyone at any point.

What a fun movie ❤️ seriously satisfied my itch to watch an action comedy! Definitely one of the best this past decade (we are in a comedy drought still for fucks sake) 

I just thought this was awesome, most of the jokes landed for me, Ryan Gosling’s comedic timing is excellent. It all just felt like a love letter to film and all the hard work that goes into them!

I love movies!! I love the people that create them!

This movie is honestly really fucking good. 

There’s a few plot holes I really wish that they would’ve explained and COULD HAVE EXPLAINED very easily that pissed me tf off and I’m also really not a fan of the ending, HOWEVER, that didn’t stop me from being SEA-TED. 

The way the home movies are shot are seriously disturbing, one in particular REALLY jarred me. I loved the concept of a true crime author finding them and getting consumed by greed and folly to the point where he wouldn’t turn them in as evidence. I loved his spin into alcoholism, I loved the supernatural elements. 

Ethan Hawke is also so great in this movie and all of those elements combined make for a thrilling experience.

I fucking love Final Destination and I have since it traumatized me at like 8 years old when I watched
1 & 2 (literally why did I have no supervision???)

I haven’t had the chance to watch one in theaters since I was literally like 12 lmao so you best KNOW I was gonna show up opening night. 

I really like how this movie expands on the lore of the franchise and I appreciate its attempt at exploring more of a family dynamic, but it felt a little half baked. I guess I wish it went full GRITTY GORY DRAMA or full on GORY SILLY COMEDY fest…

All in all it was a fun theatrical experience 💕

Funny as fuck for NO REASON!!!
This movie was like a food pyramid that satisfied all my dietary needs. 

My favorite line has got to be “you’ll survive pancreatic cancer, my grandpa did and he’s a pussy” 😭

I really loved this concept and the beginning was funny af but it dragged for me in the middle 😭 Like, it’s 2 hours and 4 minutes for WHAT reason??

I don’t even know what to say about this movie other than I loved it and I fucking love Stanley Tucci, ugh beautifully done, what an ending!!!!❤️

Fun fact: I went through a phase where I would watch this movie every day, multiple times a day when I was 16. What does that say about me? I needed HELP obviously. But that’s besides the point.

This film is a satirical masterpiece about American sensationalism, capitalism, true crime and the endless machine of trauma. 

The creative decisions in this movie are fantastic, I think a lot of people will write them off as pretentious but I truly do think that they’re all very intentional and brilliant. 

Loads of people think this film is trash. One man’s trash isn’t another chicks treasure tho! 💫

10 years  ago I was obsessed with this movie, now I’m 26 and I’m surprised that it actually held up. 

BTW here’s some other noteworthy movies I went through phases with:

* The Sound of Metal

This relationship that the director has with Truman is the perfect metaphor for being in an abusive relationship. This movie and his freedom mean a lot to me! 💗

This is one of my favorite movies of all time, I’ve seen it like 20 times.

The line delivery  of “no… haha no.. it’s because I’m so in love with you” is so fucking funny, I think about it once a day. This is the most funny, simultaneously tragic movie of all time.

WOW!!! THIS IS CINEMA!!!

I fucking loved this movie, I only give it a half star off for the post credit scene which I feel like was so unnecessary and muddied some aspects of the actual film

This isn’t necessarily a GOOD movie but it has plenty of moments that make me understand why I loved it when I was like 10 years old lmao.

 It’s also just iconic and BOLD if anything. The concept and commitment to doing “white face” complete with prosthetics the entire movie is fucking awesome.

I think if they made this movie in 2025 racists would actually fucking explode. They can’t even handle seeing A as in ONE!!! black person on screen anymore without calling it woke… not that this movie isn’t problematic, because it IS, it’s not very kind to gender non conforming folks like at all, unfunny gay jokes and lesbian jokes galore.

Not everything holds up. But something about it is still pretty fun.

Girl I would have told on the airdropper right away!! Why would I assume I can handle this hostage situation on my own??? Especially when she’s told she has to kill her date! (Not a spoiler, this is in the trailer). Like are you kidding me?? You expect me to attempt murder ON CAMERA in PUBLIC no less and not even know what your intentions will be in the end??? IM TATTLING!!

There’s also this really bizarre moment where someone dies via getting SUCKED OUT A WINDOW as if they’re on a fucking airplane or a spaceship LMAO. 

Also the Britney Broski kumbucha meme makes a cameo in this movie… god I wish I had that type of influence 😭💔 so iconic.

This was one of me and Elijah’s favorite movies when we were like 5 years old so we rewatched it to see how it held up and we’ve concluded that unfortunately.. it’s not as good as we . 

The story is told mostly through flashbacks which is kind of a personal pet peeve of mine. Too many flashbacks piss me off. That being said, the movie is adorable and really makes you feel for Piglet.

Pooh Bear is genuinely the worst friend ever to him besides Rabbit, who is RACIST to Kanga and her son.

Pooh is a conceded and a selfish prick who doesn’t deserve a friend like Piglet. He’s obsessed with his own glory and even at one point lies and says he’s taking a cookie for when they find Piglet but it’s actually for himself. He also had the audacity to name a house that PIGLET BUILT HIMSELF “Pooh corner” when it’s not even HIS HOUSE!!! It was fucking EEORYES HOUSE!!!

Buy a bigger shirt and stop making everything about yourself Pooh Bear…

I’m scared to say it but… I don’t understand the hype. There’s a LOT of excellent visual gags and puns. It’s very silly but ultimately I probably won’t watch it ever again.. I know I know. It’s controversial.

Paddington is just like me in the sense of having no biological parental figures and being Hispanic- but Paddington effortlessly makes his world more beautiful and brighter every day. 

So I can only aspire to be more like Paddington someday ❤️‍🩹

I almost went on my phone during this movie :( and I’ve NEVER done that before in my life. I had to do mental gymnastics to keep from checking my YouTube analytics 😭

I love Minecraft so much but the best part of this film was Jennifer Coolidge hooking up with a villager. Also Steve fuckin 69ing with Jason Mamoa

The only HP movie without that bald headed Jeffree Star lookin ass man 💗

This movie came out on my 7th birthday and I’ll never forget how excited I was to watch it. 
There were also these fantastic toys at Burger King promoting the movie leading up to the release. My favorite thing in the world was my digital watch that looked like Gary 💗

Aside from nostalgia though, the pacing of this movie is amazing, then jokes land and you end up with some of the most iconic SpongeBob lines and MEMES of all time. Magnificent.

I want to be a magazine article writer in New York City in the early 2000s so desperately 😞

Really fun movie with a goofy ass premise, PLEASE keep making stupid movies like this, for the love of god everything is way too serious. We’re in a recession!! We need to laugh 😭

Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega are really sweet together as a father daughter duo. I actually found their storyline really working for me- idk maybe I’m just sensitive and have no dad but my heart was warmed! 💗

However the REAL standout superstar in this movie is Will Poulter. His comedic timing is off the charts!  He had me chuckling the entire time. I really wish they would cast him in more comedies, I know he often gets typecast as a villain because of his wriggly eyebrows, but he is so much more than that. Also, fun fact, he has OCD!! Brother!! 🫡 

In the end though, there are a ton of plot holes in this that I wish would’ve been fixed, as well as some more fleshing out on the whole big pharma storyline. Tbh tho, I can’t complain too much about a movie called “Death of a Unicorn”🦄

This was my favorite movie when I was like 10 years old and those weird little ghost devil things scared the FUCK out of me. 

Anyways, watch this movie if you haven’t already seen it, it truly has it ALL- Romance, action, comedy, suspense etc!

Whoopi Goldberg is hilarious and the romance between Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore is so well established!! Which is necessary to be so impactful in he dies- (not a spoiler, the title “GHOST” is true to its name)

This is the best movie in the franchise but I fucking hate Moaning Myrtle, she’s such a fuck-ass pervert. Not only does she sexually harass boys, she’s got to be like 50 years old, didn’t she die a long ass time ago?? No shot she’s actually looking at Harry’s dick and he’s 14 years old 💀

Also it’s times like these that I curse JK Rowling for being the root of such a good movie. Fuck JK Rowling, all my homies hate JK Rowling 🏳️‍⚧️

Actually scary and has a lot of fun twists and turns. There are some loose ends that I wish were tied up but it was over all phenomenal!

This movie made me feel so good that I cried. What a fucking JOYOUS piece of art. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie more HEARTWARMING than this one. 

I went in without having seen a trailer and that’s probably for the best, because it subverted my expectations in every way- I’ll leave it at that.

This was my favorite movie when I was 10 and I’m starting to see why lol. This is sort of niche but if you have OCD, specially “magical thinking” OCD you will find your fears very affirmed by the Final Destination series. 

When these protagonists felt like something bad was going to happen and that they had to prevent it or everyone they knew would die, I truly was like “ME FUCKING TOO!!!”

So cute that I could cry 💗

Watched this on Valentine’s Day w my partner and it was a good time! It has some funny moments but overall it’s super sloppy and not something I’d ever watch again. 

1 and a half stars for the main villain, he’s always drinking boba and kills a man with his straw at one point.

I hadn’t even seen the trailer for this but decided to go just because Sophie Thatcher 💗 and it was an amazing experience. Was NOT expecting that shit at all.

There’s a scene in this movie where cops start shooting their guns hysterically in the air in celebration of Metroman’s arrival and it’s so bizarre that it automatically won me over. 

Megamind also KILLS someone (as far as we know) within the first 20 minutes lmfao

Look, It’s simple, this is the tale as old as time, a stereotypical “nice guy” incel vs a bald blue headed maniac (who might be bisexual), only one can win the love of Tina Fey

The ending of this film cured my depression for a few hours, there is a certain scene in the rain that’s deserving of a lifetime of praise it shook me to my core

My favorite movie as a child, idgaf when Steve Carell said “my tiny nipples went to ” it was a cultural reset. 

Conceptually though I must it that this film is a nightmare, God literally gives all of his powers to a complete asshole so he can reign terror over a city and accidentally cause hurricanes in other countries, like how about just blow Jim Carey’s penar off

I love the fucked up horrifying premise of having your main character be a dog with his head sewn to a man’s DEAD MANS body- which is something that SHOULD HAVE been more explored. 

At the beginning of the film we learn that before getting this body horror ass procedure, Dogman had a girlfriend and the two of them (dog and man as separate beings) were also incredibly good friends- obviously now that they’ve been morphed together, that relationship is over. This leaves Dogman to feel depressed and like he has nobody- it’s very compelling but unfortunately 
that origin story gets dropped pretty quickly. 

Dogman also has a love/hate relationship with the chief of police. The chief is jealous of Dogman because he gets 0 recognition for his achievements, meanwhile Dogman gets all the glory for simply being a dog. Their interactions are funny AF but their plot line also gets abandoned quickly. 

Instead we focus primarily on the relationship between Dogman and the evil cat Petey… now, my biggest issue with this fuckin cat is that Pete Davidson did such a god awful job voice acting him. Like holy shit.. the whole movie it sounded like it was his first time reading his lines. It was like cat nails on a chalkboard to listen to.

The biggest flaw or the movie tho is truly a lack of focus. It has ambitious and emotionally compelling storylines, but the execution was just.. not it imo. Right as the film ended a child next to me literally said “what??” Out loud. And I was lowkey on the same page. 

The highlights were the ANIMATION, which was so eye catching and fun. There were also a ton of jokes that landed for me! Overall an impressive movie

Knowing that it’s Bill Skarsgard under there makes getting freaky more understandable 😋

Whoever edited this movie deserves to die…
There are so many scenes that should be action packed yet are anticlimactic. I kept wishing Edgar Wright had directed this. (Seriously, check out The World’s End)

And the writing?? 😭 please… say sike.
Literally every 60 seconds there’s a 90s reference shoved down your throat and the comedic timing is NOT THEREEE. Which is so unfortunate because every actor in this movie is so talented, especially Rachel Zegler my queen…. For fucks sake, half the time someone would get their head drilled in by a robot NO ONE EVEN SCREAMED??? Hello?? Wtf is happening??? An example of a movie that made an apocalyptic situation comedic is This Is The End. When people die in that movie they all FREAK out, which not only makes sense, it makes the movie even funnier. 

Despite all this. There are some noteworthy pros that make the movie fun.

A great example of this are the practical effects, the robots in this were so sick.
& Every now and again a super creative/fun scene would happen 
Plus the music of course was GAS 💗 I love Fred Durst.

But overall I’m just feeling disappointed and underwhelmed though :(
