A solid installment of the franchise. Ana de Armas can absolutely carry a solo film in this universe. The choreography and camera work in the set pieces were fantastic. I found one particular battle to be too silly, even for John Wick standards. The story, mainly towards the end got paper thin but was serviceable for this movie. This is definitely worth a watch for general action or John Wick fans.
From cult classic to Hollywood sequel, 28 Weeks Later both pleases and underwhelms.
To get the bad out of the way, yeah a lot of characters made a lot of poor decisions throughout the course of the film. The script could have been a lot better in that regard. And a particular scene with a helicopter was just absolutely ludicrous. Would have worked in Zombieland, but definitely not this. The kids weren't compelling, and were given some of the worst…
