Aaron’s review published on Letterboxd:
Running sucks and this movie gets that.
I know I’m getting older because biographical movies are becoming more and more interesting to me. I’m not a basketball guy, never have been, but I liked this nonetheless. It’s in the same realm of Moneyball in that it’s combining sports, business, and the people behind groundbreaking moves.
Matt Damon and Viola Davis are always great, doesn’t matter what role or media you stick them in. Jason Bateman was also a good addition; it’s easy to forget his skills in more serious roles.
Athletes deserve compensation. Repeat.
