Being a teenager when Tron: Legacy was released in theaters and loving every minute of it, Tron was something I always needed to watch.

It is definitely a product of its time…note this is not a comment on the graphics, just the writing, acting, and what I can only describe as very sudden story telling? I don’t know, I enjoyed it - I definitely see the nostalgia that so many people have for this movie. I also think watching it has added to my enjoyment of Tron: Legacy, which isn’t necessarily something I can say about all sequels.
