Denis Villeneuve doesn’t fucking miss. Dune Part 2 builds off everything that made the first movie such an excellent and beautifully crafted film while expanding and improving on everything I was iffy about from part 1. Timothée Chalamet Zendaya, Austin Butler, Rebecca Ferguson and the rest of the absolutely stacked cast knock it out of the park in their performances and each and every character has there moment to shine. This epic story being split into two parts was a genius idea because it would not have been adapted as well if one movie. I have never read the books so for me to he as invested in this world says a lot. And of course technically this movie is perfect. Every shot looks like a painting and the music score is haunting, beautiful, and bombastic all at once. Now I'm angry that I have to wait another 3-5 years for another movie in this universe.
