to write an actual review of this film… I don’t think it deserves to be boiled down to a sexual assault movie, but for anyone who has had experiences with that painful, degrading and complicated part of life, this film is gonna be incredibly emotional.

What makes it work so well though, is it is not incredibly heavy. It’s soft and silly and affirming while still tackling some of the darkest and most difficult to navigate parts of assault.

Oh men are gonna HATE this

edit: *Some* men (do i really have to clarify that) aren’t gonna like that this film becomes a take down of a privileged lonely white guy. I can’t believe how much slander i’m receiving by pointing that out. My comment isn’t criticising men! I don’t know what else to say to make that clear - The film criticises men, I’m pointing out that that’s gonna be divisive. Please stop calling me a cunt 🩵
