Despite its formulaic nature I invested in the expansion of this universe post Pray. However the animation in this felt very lackluster, first act looked like something out of a pre 2010s video game and even some of the final sequences looked like it was dropping in frame rate or something. This series deserves better tbh.
This short doc manages to stretch something seemingly mundane, working at a flag factory, into something much broader. It touches on racism, the American dream, immigration and social injustice. Some of it lands, some of it doesn’t but overall I think much of this will resonate, especially with an American audience.
