Haven’t read Murakami’s story on which this was based upon.

The things i liked: Acting, Colouring and Cinematography.

I see this slow paced film tryna show the norms of society, classism and the one finding the meaning in life.

But it doesn’t lead to anywhere, the script and the story felt weak and didn’t keep me engaged at all.

First half had me hooked, but the movie lost its sense of direction to a very anticlimactic ending even tho the stakes were high.

Robert’s acting was great, art direction was spot on, visuals were 7/10. But the humour in this movie was a hit and a miss sorts.

It was Fun tho.

Can’t believe this was 2007, VFX and pace of the movie was spot on.

Science vs Faith drove this multi genre movie, somewhat confusing the feel of it but in the end, the pure visuals and thrills of this movie was something that got stuck.
