Ranking of Shakespeare Adaptions

The effectiveness of the adaptation in relaying language (if it is used) as well as the thematic elements of the original text are key components of the ranking as opposed to the enjoyment of the film itself.

A majority of these films need to be rewatched because I've only seen them once and/or I watched them when I was a lot younger. The notes will indicate which films I've only seen once and which films I have seen ∞ amounts of times--meaning I have seen them so many times that I've stopped counting.

Repeat viewings are usually more reliable so take that into consideration. The fact that some of the films I've only viewed once are still so high says a lot about the powers of those films.

There are plenty I haven't seen so I will be adding as they are watched.
