So much good things set up in Act 1 but constant tone switching and side plots left to dust made this second act climb and final payoff feel fruitless.

Bill Nighy is a rare performer with a presence that really does feel present. Heartfelt story of what it means to live a life that leaves true impact - driven by a force one believes in outside of themselves.

Yeah you might not really know where it is you’re heading in this film but at least you’re running at full speed and, damn, the wind in your face just feels really nice.

But Bradley Cooper scares the hell out of me.

MGM’s subtle 40 minute commercial to promote their film had me getting choked up - what’s going on here? 

They once said this about Brosnan, and I’ll say it about Daniel Craig - someone is going to have some big shoes to fill.
