OH MY GOD WTF WAS THAT THE FANTASTIC ENDING SCENE WHERE SHE WAS FLYING IN THE AIR IT WAS MAGIC
Like I totally get it I totally want to press my lips against the screen and praise and kneel to the holy gods who have created this utter masterpiece because it was absolutely everything?!?! It was SO ICONIC?!?!?!
Ariana’s acting was so on point ahahah I love her character tbh and I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND why she could not forgo all she’d been used to her whole life and submit to an environment where everyone she’d loved would hate her
Meanwhile regarding Elphaba I don’t really get her motives it was so uncool to steal a private moment with your friends boyfriend like that. She’s supposedly self righteous in a sense yes but ngl girl was WAY too stubborn for her own good (Did she even see Glinda as a person?! She was so dismissive. Actually they both were lmao. Honesty their relationship was strained at best)
AND OH MY GOD THE TWIST
you know how there’s those films where you literally know the ending but still get caught completely unbalanced by the abruptness of the astonishing reveal (thankfully I forgot a bit of the original)
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE ACTING
MICHELLE SLAYED ONCE AGAIN
The funny thing is I actually watched this for viscount Anthony Bridgerton aka Jonathan Bailey and damn his song was HOT I gasped but seriously can’t wait for the sequel this was the sort of film that makes one reconsider their college degrees and life choices
