Finished the book just in time! Funny the things that both parts leave out, but I guess I’m just Dune-pilled enough to dig it all!

Much as I see why they went in the direction they did, I prefer the Alia presence of Lynch’s Dune (and especially the book) over this one, but this does present some really cool moments of its own.

Gurney killing Rabban is another change I quite like, and some of the things they leave out from him seem for the best as well.

Paul not being with Chani in the end stings in every iteration I suppose… and speaking of, Zendaya has never looked better than she does in that still tent! 😍

These are mostly just changes I want to for future discussions because I loved this all around. Some of the most stunning visual sequences ever brought to film! I just want to see it again!
