what ticked me off with this was how the story's main focus wasn't the titular character, they could've named it bandara konappu if they were heading in this direction lol.
other than that though cinematography, costume and set design were pretty decent and i enjoyed all those aspects of the film. pacing of the story too however, could've been a bit better.

the real spiritual experience here was whenever classical indian music played over these gorgeous visuals. it was such a treat seeing wes incorporate his own aesthetic to match the vibrant culture of india, where the story takes place.
and it’s pacing is just perfect—moving slow enough to make sure we bask in the sadness, yet somehow fast as well to keep up with our main characters’ shenanigans. top tier film which just make you feel.
